Texscan MSI has been in the cable advertising business 35 years and is now under new ownership. Texscan MSI's first products were character generators which provided news, local weather, and a bulletin board mixed with local advertisements. As satellite networks began providing advertising avails to cable companies, Texscan MSI was the first to develop a second generation of commercial inserters to meet expanding industry needs for more sophisticated products.
